Camping

Doesn't this look like a great little campsiteNice fire, great trees, little stream( you can't see the stream :( )
We went camping on my 'rents back acre this weekend. We had a blast, we took the boyz 4wheelers, and my 'rents have a go cart. My parents have the greatest backyard. The kids played in the stream and made s'mores, the adults played scrabble and other games. We had a blast even though we didn't ever actually sleep in the tents, LOL. Every night there was lightning and rain so, we did what any campers would do ditched the tents and slept in the house.
How do kids get so dirty so fast. This picture was taken less than an hour into our faux camping. I have no idea how Liam manages to get himself so dirty.

Brothers & Buddies

Jaxson and Liam spent the day riding 4 wheelers until Liams ran out of batteries. No problem, Dad attached a tow rope to Jaxsons and he towed Liam around for at least an hour.
I don't know what we did before we had children, we must have been very bored.
Have I said how much I love summer recently, well I do !!!!!!!!!!!!
Boyz are made for summer

Baby Wearing for the Papa

This is Angelo's first time wearing Hazel if you can believe that Aren't they so cute
She just snuggled right up to him and shortly after the pic she dozed off. I think they both enjoyed it, I hope he doesn't want to do it too often ( I am a little jealous). I am so used to having her with me all the time.......................... I guess I can share.

Lazy Dayz

We spent almost the entire day outside today. Jaxson has been "practicing" doing wheels on his bike, and making up new tricks with his skateboard.
Liam played in the water, and on his bike. Hazel spent the day swinging away.
I got to see a friend of mine that moved to Mississippi for the summer, and is now getting ready to move to Guam of all places. She will be missed. It was great to get to see her.
All in all a great day was had by all !!!!!

Miss Personality

Hazel is begining to show us her personality. I love this age when babies start showing you signs of who they are. She is a very funny little girl & amazingly happy all the time. This weekend Hazel and I got sick, yuck. She begun throwing up on Thursday, to my surprise being sick doesn't make her grumpy. On Friday night we were about to go to bed, I had just finished nursing her and she threw up, after emptying her stomach she gave us a big grin and started laughing. Can you believe it. I have never seen such a plesant baby.
I however started throwing up on Saturday night without any smiles, grins, or laughs.
We seem to have recovered , thankfully!!!!!

Liam & the Lovies

Liam has always loved to have a animal, maybe if we didn't have to take them everywhere with us he would only have had one. As it is he has had a long line of lovies.
Above is the most famous lovie, THE RHINO
Liam had this lovie for about one year until the unfortunate park experience.
....it was a beautiful summer day, we went to the park. Liam brought Rhino as usual, everything was going so well, until we got home and realized Rhino had been left behind. We dashed back to the park conviced we would find him & restore order to our home once again. We got to the park jumped out and scoured the entire park, but to no evail. The park had triumphed we were forever Rhinoless.
It took poor Liam months to recover, but recover he did
But he was not to be taken again, he now has three lovies the two pictured above, & the one below. These lovies do have a value order however. Mr. Lion below is commander and chief ( if either of the other two are missing he can still sleep as long a lion is around) Second in command is Mr Horse, and next is Mr. Dog.
Mr. Lion is now our constant companion, we just pray he doesn't meet the same fate as Rhino

ALL THE BAD NEWS

It has been a very trying couple of weeks for our family.
The house that we live in ( we were planning on living in for at least 2 more years)
has been sold. Not only do we have to move out a quickly as possible, but our rent will be going up substantailly. I guess it is probably a good thing since we have had some pretty terrible things going on in the "apartments next door"
The police have been around so much my children think that it is normal to see police at least weekly. We have had; arrests, csi's, and just about as many detectives as are employed by Provo City. I am tired to say the least. I think what thru me over the edge is the last time the police were next door my boyz saw them through the window and said " Mom the police are here lets go outside so they can give us stickers like last time" my stomach is still turning. The neighborhood we are moving to has none of this. We are going to have to start watching TV again, instead of looking out the windows for entertainment.
We are moving to 401 Brookside Drive in Springville, just a hop skip and jump from Brandy's house. It is a 4 bedroom house with full finished basement and wood swingset in the fenced backyard, WHAT A BLESSING. I am very sad about leaving my ward, my friends, and downtown Provo which I love soooo much. I know that we are always provide for and protected by the Lord. This is just another adventure!!!!! We have a two year lease on the house, just enough time for Angelo to finish school and find a job. Our landlord has indicated that if we find a job around here and want to purchase the house at that time she would be willing.
So, we signed the contract today and all is set we move on the 15th of July!!!!

Mi Familia

It is 9:00pm, we ( the entire family) are getting in the car to leave my Mothers home.
It goes something like this;
Jaxson jumps in buckels up, click
Hazel in her seat and buckeled, click, click, click
Liam............Liam, remember Liam is 2 ( Mr. Autonomy)
I DO IT I DO IT I DO IT I DO IT I DO IT I DO IT I DO IT
We let him attempt to do his buckel for at least 5minutes, then try to distract him long enough to push the seat belt together, click...................click...........................click
Finally
Angelo, Click
Me, Click
We are all in (hurray) it has only been 15minutes since we started, almost record time.
Next I turn around and say
" It is an hour past your bed time, so I don't want to hear anything about it being to sunny to go to sleep when we get home"
Jaxson" okay"
Liam"okay"
With that we are off. We have been driving two minutes when Angelo says" look at how beautiful the mountians look" Jaxson says energeticly " Yes, it is because they are not sleeping"
Here we go, the following conversation will take place at least 10 more times this car ride
Jaxson "it is not bed time"
Me " yes Jaxson it is actually past bed time"
Jaxson" but it is not dark"
Me " I know dear, in the summer time it is still light outside when we go to sleep"
Jaxson" look that person is not asleep" ( indicating someone walking, jumping, talking, doing anything but sleeping that he can see outside the window)
Me "Well I am not his/her mommy"
Angelo" It is bed time when we say it is bedtime" (said gruffly, Angelo is not a night owl by any stretch of the imagination)
Not only will we repeat this conversation until we get home, we have had this same conversation so many times all the player have memorized their lines. There are no surprises, no one ever says anything different. Yet we continue every night to have this conversation, LOL.
Meanwhile, Liam has taken a chocolate cookie( from Grandma) and covered his entire body in slimey chocolate saliva & stuck the crumbs to it.
During the entire car ride Hazel will be talking (to whom is anyones guess), playing with her toes, and every once in awhile laugh out loud.
While on intermission from the " Conversation" I will stare aimlessly out the window, no thinking just alot of staring. I think I am trying to gear up for the inevitable bed time antics.
Angelo is chewing a straw, I am sure he is just trying to keep himself undercontrol ( the straw gets it, not the kids)
This is our family
