My new cook book has really inspired me to buy organic
and use white flour & sugar sparingly
The best is that my family is diggin' it
from whole wheat bread, ww bagels, ww pizza dough,ww waffles & pancakes, to ww crasin cookies ( all of which are only organic ingredients )


the fam is happy
I am becoming a much better cook
we are all becoming healthier

Unfortunatley for Angelo the next step is extremely limiting our red meat intake
( at most once a month) I really don't know how he is going to react

Hazel's First Bottle

We wanted to try a bottle out with Hazel for the first time, so I pumped and Angelo got to feed her!! She just took the bottle and drank it like she knew what she was doing, she wouldn't even let anyone else hold it. It is always so nice when Angelo gets to feed them for the first time, he was excited.

I turned around after having taken these pictures and the boyz were trying something new as well

hmm................i think i will let it go

They are always so interested in what I am doing, i guess they thought they would try it out

Pioneers wished they didn't have too.........I love too

my hubby teases me about my manual wheat grinder

I absolutely love it !!!

I guess I feel as though I am really working for the food I make, and that it is really fresh

so, every morning and night you can find me in the shed with my little wheat grinder, grinding away!!!!

I made delicious bran wheat muffins this A.M.

one more thing I wouldn't want to live without

a little note

in High School I used to eat bran muffins and grapefruit juice every morning

we had that breakfast this morning, I am feeling so nostalgic

taste really is related to memories

Dinner Menu

We are taking the two above to the ward dinner this evening


I must take all 3 kids grocery shopping today
here is how it will go:

Hazel will sleep in the wrap the entire trip, if she happens to wake she will entertain herself making rasberries

Jaxson will walk next to the cart until he sees something he has to pick up
after 15 times of being told to stay next to the cart he will. Then the fun begins, he will now ask me to buy everything he sees, whether he knows what it is or not

Liam will be buckled in to the seat in the cart. He will whine for the first 15 minutes in the store, next he will drop the toy he has brought with him 10 dozen times ( I really hated this when I was pregnant, all the bending down killed me)

I will leave the store with half the items I went for ( even if they are all on the list) and a thread of sanity, on the way home I will remember everything I needed & ask myself more than a dozen times WHY I WOULD TAKE ALL THESE CHILDREN TO THE GROCERY STORE.

Knowing all of these things will happen I am going to go anyway (Yes I am a crazy person)

One More Reason to Love Springville

This may not look like much to you
however, we consider it a brillant peice of art

The Springville Art Museum holds family night once a month.
Augusts was on quilting, after seeing the displays they let the kids have a go at making quilt squares.
This is Jaxsons, I am very impressed!!!

I have been working on making the basment MY kid "friendly"


I think it is comming along nicely

A few things to notice:

(by the by she spent the entire day laughing with herself in the mirror)

in which the boyz already have the books
we will be reading tommorow opened to the front page

we have already had many pillow fights, what a life
(mom not only condoned but was a participatant)

Soccer Weekend

This weekend we stayed at my mothers house
Liam got his first set of cleats so all the boyz decided to help him wear them in with a little friendly game

Look how sweet they started with the traditional
singing of the National Anthem This is Liam's idea of playing soccer
Jaxson is just getting the hang of it
he is pretty good if I do say so
Games over time for a rest!!!!
It was a very fun weekend
I am glad my kids have such fun Uncles !!!
