Notes on a BIG BELLY

My 32 Week appointment went something like this
Midwife: You are measuring 34 1/2 weeks
Me: Could my due date be wrong?
Midwife: Could be
Me: I have never measured big before
Midwife: Wow the babies head is lodged really far down in your pelvis
Me: Yup
Midwife: How many pushes does it usually take you to deliver
Me: about 5
Midwife: (still pushing on the babies head, ouch) Wow it is really far down
Me: Yes, I know I can feel it ( in truth I have been waddling for a week)
Me: so is my due date off?
Midwife: well you could be measuring big because of excess fluid, but the babies head would probably be more buoyant
Me: OK
What I was thinking: Would you stop pushing on my belly, please. I know the babies head is low I wont give you all the details, but I know!!
Well the long and short is
Pray that I have the baby a little sooner than the due date so that I will actually be able to get the little one out. My belly is all baby and even Angelo says he has never seen it this big.
Here is hoping for number 4 before Angelo's Last semester begins on the 7th of January
( a girl can dream can't she?)

Baby Belly

Posted by Picasa

3 months 5 months 7 months

I have received requests for belly pics
here they are, careful what you wish for
The kids are so excited they have a little mental countdown, they say:
"Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then THE BABY"
it is really cute
Angelo is apprehensive ( I wouldn't expect anything else from a father/sole provider of almost 4 while trying to Graduate from a University in his second language) but still excited, he thinks its a girl. We all know how he feels about Eme, he would like another one. I am just afraid he will melt completely away if we have another girl.
My Mother is frustrated, she really would like to know the sex of the baby. She wants to start buying things, especially if it is another girl. She is handling it like a champ she rarely mentions it.
I have been great through all the ruff stuff until just recently. I am getting sick a lot and feeling uncomfortable already( too early). I have gained more weight than any other pregnancy and I am measuring big ( about 30 cm at my 28 week visit). The midwives say all of this can be attributed to this being #4, oh well.
I love this stage when you can feel where the baby is and you start to learn a little about their personality. I don't really have any intuition about the sex of the baby. I have always felt more comfortable guessing that the baby is a boy, but I have more experience with having boy babies. I don't feel as though I know for sure.
I am really going to be surprised at the birth, so fun
We have both names picked out so we will be able to greet the baby.

It turned out GREAT ! ! !

We are just getting ready to tie her hair up for the big day

More pics of the actual day, later

Three Great Reasons To SMILE

Live Laugh Love

This is what having a girl is all about !!!!

I love painting her finger & toenails, the best is that she loves it too.She sits so quite and still until they are all done,AmAzIng !! Then she spends the rest of the day showing them to everyone who will give her the time, and that is everyone.

I just wanted to show you how cute Eme's little toddler bed is

***notice the three babies in the baby bed

Anytime we go to the store Eme wants a baby most of the time we try to distract her and run the opposite direction of any dolls. However, if you have ever met Eme you understand, she is just so darn cute it is hard not to spoil her.

These are her favorites, so they get the bed.

She makes me smile !!

Speaking of smiling

Jaxson hasn't missed a beat from school to home

He is actually doing great and learning how to learn himself ( this is the key)

Anyone interested in reading more about homeschooling check out this book

A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver DeMille

I really want my children to be educated the way that Thomas Jefferson was, that is really all I am going to say about that. It is just a personal decision.

Here he is 5yrs old writing words ( in cursive) that he has read from index cards I put together

He just gets them out and writes and reads them

The Montessori school uses a writing to reading program, we are just continuing this at home.

So far so good
He makes me smile !!

Okay something amazing happened

Liam had a rhino exactly like the one pictured above, that he loved. We left it at the park about one year ago we went back to recover it & nothing

This caused many sleepless nights until we bought the tiger pictured above.

Here comes the miracle

My brother Joseph found this rhino at a school exchange thing INCREDIBLE it is exactly like the one we used to have ( i am still looking for the pictures of him with it before). When Joseph gave it to Liam you should have seen his face, he totally remembered it.

The only thing is now we have both the lion and rhino with us all the time, maybe he will grow out of this.

He makes me smile !!
