{ Right of Passage }

so this is how the a m went

I awoke to Jaxson

"mom can I go get in the shower"

"yup"

about 20 minutes later

"mom, I'm all dressed and I made my breakfast, prayed, & ate, I'm ready when you are"

the time was now 8:00 a m

school starts at 9:10 a m

So, he played while I

fed the other kids

bathed the other kids

and showered myself

next we got the bikes ready for the ride to school

back pack on

(my emotions were holding)

pictures taken

( I'm still cool as a well... you know)

pleasant ride to the school

kisses & hugs exchanged

fresh kindergartner in Ms. O's line looking

so cool

if you know Jaxson you know he is super independent

I kept it together......for awhile

I really wanted to be cool & calm so he would be

so I did it

as I biked the remaining carvajal's back home

my eyes welled up & there was no turning back

I was CRYING

I really cannot go much more into this

he is home safe, I made it, he had the time of his life

all is well

I love those independent kids. It is soooooo much easier to leave them if they are saying, bye Mom, you can go now. Kayleigh and Koy were both thrilled to be going, and couldn't wait for me to leave them. I was worried that Kyler would have a hard time, but he did great too.

Oh! he looks like a little man. My goodness, and almost 6 too. I am happy not to be going through this school thing alone, but just between you and me, isn't the house so peaceful when the oldest is gone.

He looks like he's about 10 in that picture - what a handsome young man. Glad the first day went well!

I know just how you feel! It is even as bad with the second! i am sure you have read my blog so I won't go into it.

So guess who went green with the grocery store sacks? There will be a blog about that soon too!

One more thing - it's 8am and the rest of your children are still sleeping?!? Lucky you! That's awesome!
