I think I used to be fun

Maybe I am wrong, but I really believe I used to be a fun person. I remember being invited to parties because I WAS FUN to be around. What has happened??

Lisa, Amber, Brandy did I used to be fun??

I feel as though I spend my entire day over tired, cleaning, and correcting children. I guess what I am saying is I am going to work on being a fun person to be around this year!

This is my goal if you have any suggestions feel free to enlighten me. Please remember I have 4 children and I need suggestions that will be possible, not make me feel less fun because I cannot accomplish them.

A Prophet for our Times

I have been wanting to post something about our beloved prophets passing

Ever night since his passing I have heard tributes to this amazing man on our local news stations (great thing about living in Utah).

My reaction to the news of his passing was really strangley happy. I am so happy for him to be home with heavenly father and especially his dear wife. It is times like these that I really start to think about eternal marriage and what a joy and comfort it really is. I have only been married to Angelo for 7 years and I cannot imagine my life without him. Our dear prophet did so much to further the kingdom on earth and I am relieved for him to be able to be reunited with his eternal companion and free from all the pains of these mortal bodies as they grow older.

I have heard it said many times this week what a wonderful man he was, and I would like to add my sentiments to this

GIRLS GOT STYLE

It has been mentioned more than a few times that Emeline is NEVER dressed in the pictures on my blog

I realize this is true however I am shocked because Emme has tons of clothes and she baths and dresses every morning!!!!

The only conclusion I can come up with is that by the time I get my camera out at least midday she has already started changing into dress ups ( she does dress up almost every day)

So to prove that she not only HAS clothes but WEARS them

we put on a little fashion show ( for as long as she would co-operate)

What's in a name

Okay Okay

So I get that Chaucer isn't the most common name

but come on

I thought if you had been through High School English you'd have read something written by

Geoffrey Chaucer???

Almost everyone I meet says they haven't ever heard the name Chaucer & it doesn't get better once I explain that it is like Geoffrey Chaucer or the The Canterbury Tales

I am always amazed at how the human body can recover so quickly

I was a little concerned with the 4th full term baby my body wouldn't recover as fast

I have been pleasantly surprised

The Day I went into Labor

Less than 24 hrs after his birth

One week later

We are having a great time with the newest Carvajal

he is still delightful.

He smiles all the time, none of our other kids smiled like this ( I know they say it is gas)

He really smiles,

after he eats he smiles

when he hears my voice he smiles

and

when he is just drifting to sleep he smiles

I am going to try to get a picture of it he is so sweet

The kids are adjusting well, they are just getting tired of being at home ALL the time

so we have come up with a solution( thanks to the snow).

Our front windows overlook the "yard" so the boyz put on their snow stuff and as long as they stay next to the windows they get to play outside.

Poor Emeline is left inside

she is handling it well she watches from the window

We all know

I LOVE MOBY WRAPS

so when I saw that they made mini moby's for children well............

I knew Emeline had to have one

We have such a blast wearing our babies around the house, isn't it the cutest thing you have ever seen??

Chaucer

Well the newest Carvajal is finding this world a little hard to adjust too

He had a little trouble breathing in the begining because the cord was around his neck

when he was born

He spent an hour or so with some extra help

Now we find he prefers a tanning bed to a crib. He is a bit jaundiced but the good news is they now have these "suitcases" (that is what they call it, and indeed that is what it is) so we are able to keep him at home with us. Thank goodness for modern technology !! It is sad because he can really only be out of his suitcase to eat, I am glad it is almost over.

We have been checking his billiruben levels everyday and he will be out of the lights by Saturday!!! Hooray!!

Well I am glad that we are able to have him at home where I can nurse him. He is a delightful baby, he rarely crys and is really a pleasure to have in our family.

HAPPY 2008

As a pregnant mother of 3 I felt New Years would be best celebrated at about 8:00pm

The kids had fun drinking sparkling Cider and went to bed chanting

HAPPY NEW YEARS !!

I only stayed awake long enough to celebrate New Years with New York City

We wish everyone a Very Happy 2008

**one more note the newest Carvajal will be born in 2008 which makes a baby in our family in 2002,2004,2006,& 2008

love those even years, don't think 20010 will continue the tradition ( we never know)
